RBC: airlines will be able to operate 15 “short” flights per hour to Turkey and Sochi

From August 30, Russian airlines will be able to use an additional air corridor to reduce the time of flights from Moscow to Turkey and Sochi. They will be able to make no more than 15 flights per hour in each direction. This was reported RBC citing sources at the three airlines.
According to sources, this decision was made at a meeting of the State Air Traffic Management Corporation on August 29. Flights along the new corridor will be operated from 00:00 on 30 August. However, the Federal Air Transport Agency refused to comment on this information.
Flights to Turkey and Sochi, but in excess of the limit of 15 flights per hour, as well as flights to other destinations, the airlines will continue to operate through the airspace of Kazakhstan.
Due to the military operation closed 11 airports in the south of Russia. They will be closed until at least September 4th. Sochi Airport continues to operate, however, after the introduction of restrictions, the flight time from Moscow has increased from two to four hours.
