Rapper Loqiemean canceled tour in Russia after Mizulina’s complaint to the Prosecutor General’s Office

Rap artist Roman Khudyakov (stage name – Loqiemean) said in Telegram, which cancels a concert tour of the cities of Russia due to the “flow of lies” initiated by some bloggers, who were then supported by a number of media. According to the musician, bloggers Vladislav Pozdnyakov and Stas Vasiliev (“Stas Ay, How Simple!”) accused him of Russophobia, LGBT propaganda and sending money to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. On May 2, the head of the Safe Internet League, Ekaterina Mizulina, published in Telegram a complaint against Mr. Khudyakov to the Prosecutor General’s Office due to “gross violation of the rights and interests of children.”

Responding to the accusations of bloggers, Loqiemean said that he did not send donations to the Ukrainian Armed Forces and that all his bank transfers can be checked to be sure. According to him, he basically did not leave Russia after February 24, 2022, with the exception of a flight to Kazakhstan on May 1 as part of the tour. “If I were a Russophobe, I would have left a long time ago,” the musician emphasized, commenting on accusations of Russophobia.

Loqiemean then commented on a “pot video” of him cooking meat in pots and saying that he would like to see those who hit an apartment building in Odessa cook in them. Video dated March 23, 2022 Ekaterina Mizulina published on May 1 in Telegram. “I have lived all my life in Russia without knowing the horrors of the war, so I said it as rashly as the activists who, under posts about my concerts, call for burning clubs along with people. Neither I nor they are right in this case: you can’t commit lynching, no matter how you spread emotions, ”the musician wrote.

To accusations of LGBT propaganda, the musician replied that “it’s generally some kind of laughter” and he is a family man, and he can only recommend what he lives with.

According to Mr. Khudyakov, bloggers later brought their claims to him to Ms. Mizulina, after which it turned out to be impossible to hold concerts in order to avoid problems with venues and organizers. He stated that he and his team had already written an appeal to the Safe Internet League explaining the situation.

“I always wanted to live in Russia and develop in it what I can and can do, because I love my Motherland, although I do not always agree with the state. At the same time, I have always been for the development of the country, against drugs, pedophilia, bullying of children and adolescents, including online, and for cleanliness in my cities. Here is my family and my friends. Whatever one may say, the facts do not allow calling me a traitor. All my listeners have always known about this, now those who have hung noodles on their ears in vain and came to meet me will also know about it, ”concluded the rapper.

On May 2, Ms. Mizulina published on Telegram a complaint against Loqiemean to the Prosecutor General’s Office, accusing him of violating children’s constitutional rights to spiritual, moral and intellectual development. According to her, the Safe Internet League’s hotline receives numerous complaints against Roman Khudyakov about “gross violations of federal law in the field of national security.” Later Mrs. Mizulina reportedthat Loqiemean concerts began to be canceled in Moscow, Samara and Tyumen.
