He became the artistic director of the theater “Practices”
The artistic director of the Russian Academic Youth Theater Alexei Borodin announced the appointment of a new director at the gathering of the troupe on August 25. He introduced Marina Brusnikina in this capacity, who, however, is not a new figure for the theater.
– It seems to me that it is important to continue our work, the history of RAMT, together with those who are close to the theater both in creative and human terms, – said Alexei Borodin, introducing the new director.
I must say that Marina Brusnikina staged her first performance – “Lada, or Joy” at the RAMT ten years ago, and since then this little masterpiece has been a huge success. Brusnikina released three more productions with the Ramtovites – one more interesting than the other. And for the last one – “Days of Saveliy” – she was awarded the MK theater award in several categories at once.
– She has a wonderful gift of a director and a gift of a teacher, the artists are happy to respond to her ideas – both in the choice of dramatic material, and in the approach to working with it. Therefore, I am happy that Marina Stanislavovna accepted my proposal: her arrival at RAMT as the chief director, in my opinion, is extremely organic and natural, ”Borodin concluded in his speech.
After such a flattering and absolutely well-deserved performance, Brusnikina admitted that RAMT for her is “an amazing theater, where life is in full swing in all corners, where there is a very creative and working atmosphere, where you get and find yourself in a big family and where I personally feel happy.”
It remains to add that, having become the chief director of one of the best theaters in Moscow, Brusnikina does not leave the post of artistic director of the Praktika Theater, which she headed five years ago after the death of her husband Dmitry Brusnikin.
