Raiffeisenbank will again increase the amount of the minimum payment in foreign currency for legal entities

Starting April 3, the conditions for currency transfers will change for Raiffeisenbank legal entities. The minimum amount of outgoing payments in dollars, euros and yuan will increase. About it Frank Media told in the support of a credit institution.
The minimum transfer amount for legal entities will be:
- $50 thousand;
- €50 thousand;
- 100 thousand yuan.
Raiffeisenbank explained the change in conditions by optimizing their processes, as correspondent banks introduce additional procedures for making payments.
February 21 Raiffeisenbank informed, which from March 2 will increase the minimum amount of outgoing transfer in US dollars to $15,000 for legal entities, individual entrepreneurs and individuals engaged in private practice. Previously, the minimum limit for transfers in dollars was not set.
Raiffeisenbank is a subsidiary of Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI) in Russia. According to the Financial Times, the bank serves 40-50% of Russia’s payments with other countries. In the third quarter of 2022, the Russian subsidiary provided 68% of the financial result of the entire Austrian group. At the end of 2022, Raiffeisenbank increased profit under RAS by 3.6 times, to more than 141 billion rubles.
