Raiffeisenbank confirmed the rejection of one of the archival salary tariffs

Raiffeisenbank announced the closure of one archive package of services from April 10, it will continue to issue salary cards. The fact that the bank refuses to connect new service packages “Salary” was reported RBC and TASS.

“Raiffeisenbank does not stop issuing payroll cards and connecting clients to payroll projects, closing only one package of services that is not relevant,” a Raiffeisenbank representative commented to RIA Novosti.

“Previously connected payroll service packages will be serviced as usual until the cards expire,” TASS reported earlier. “Salary” offered the option of free service, RBC noted. From April 10, the connection of new payroll service packages will be terminated, previously connected packages will be serviced until the cards expire, Raiffeisenbank confirmed.

JSC Raiffeisen Bank is a subsidiary of the international group Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI). Now JSC operates as an independent legal entity. In March 2022 in the Russian “daughter” reportedthat, despite the actions of the RBI, the organization will continue to work in the Russian Federation.

At the time, RBI said it was considering several options for the future of its Russian subsidiary JSC Raiffeisen Bank, including a “carefully considered exit” from it.

Earlier, against the background of the Russian military operation, some foreign banks announced the curtailment of activities in Russia, for example, the German Commerzbank and Deutsche Bank and the American JP Morgan Chase and Goldman Sachs Group.
