Austrian Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI) said it continues to explore various options for the future of its Russian subsidiary amid reports of demands from the European Central Bank (ECB) to leave the Russian market. They clarified that this process has been going on for a long time due to the “complexity of the situation” and the restrictive measures introduced by the Russian authorities. The timing of the final decision on the future of its Russian “daughter” in the RBI did not specify.
