Born in Ukraine, served in the army in Siberia
He was born in Ukraine, served in the army in Siberia, worked at the Yuri Lyubimov Drama and Comedy Theater on Taganka, then performed solo reading programs. In the artist’s creative baggage there were about forty of them – about Pushkin, Chaadaev, Socrates, Einstein, Mamardashvili, Yevtushenko… We can say that Kleiner created his own special monotheater. Very popular among intellectual fans.
For many years, Rafael Aleksandrovich passed on his experience to children and headed the literary studio at the Pushkin Museum.
It’s good that the “Culture” channel managed to finish filming a film about the great reader shortly before his death.
The farewell will take place on Tuesday, March 26, from 11.00 in the Philharmonic Chamber Hall (Tchaikovsky Hall). “MK” expresses condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
