Queen release new single featuring Freddie Mercury

Queen released the single “Face It Alone” with vocals by Freddie Mercury, recorded in 1988. The song was not included in the album Miracle, for which it was originally recorded. Moreover, it has never been performed before.
Face It Alone will be included in The Miracle compilation. In it, Brian May and Roger Taylor decided to include songs recorded but not included in the album (there are three dozen of them), alternative arrangements of famous songs, test recordings, fragments of radio interviews, as well as musicians’ conversations.
The collection will be released November 18th. The recordings for Miracle were discovered by the band’s assistants when they were sorting through the archives. The quality of the recordings, as it turned out, suffered, but not hopelessly.
Colleagues call the ballad Face It Alone very beautiful and touching – “a little pearl from Freddie”. This will be the first previously unknown single with Mercury’s voice in the last 8 years. In 2014, the group released the Queen Forever album, which included three previously unheard Mercury compositions.
