Russia is interested in attracting private companies to work together in the space sector. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“The most important thing is that the state is interested in this. “We are interested in attracting private companies to this important joint work,” the president said at a meeting with young scientists and space industry specialists (quote according to TASS).
Putin, answering a question from a representative of the space industry, noted that he shares concerns about the lack of a mechanism for financing private space companies.
At the end of August, the president instructed Roscosmos and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives to Promote New Projects (ASI) to consider the issue of creating spacecraft for extremely low orbits.
April 26, General Director of Roscosmos Yuri Borisov assuredthat Moscow will not isolate itself from colleagues from Asian, African and European countries in the field of space. Borisov emphasized that space should be outside of politics.
