Unique cultural clusters are being created in Russia, which have no analogues in the whole world. This was announced on Monday, September 11, by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The head of state thanked all those responsible for the tremendous work in this area, emphasizing that no other country in the world has “such a volume of construction, such a versatile approach to the construction of cultural objects.”
Putin also pointed to the diversity and vast geography of such clusters, noting that “people deserve to have first-class cultural objects right in their homeland, of which our entire country is proud.”
At the same time, addressing the leaders of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, the President asked them not to forget about the existing, long-functioning cultural institutions, to remember about the people who work there, about their material well-being, and the provision of housing.
The Russian authorities pay special attention to cultural objects located on the territory of new Russian regions. Russian Minister of Culture Olga Lyubomirova said that by the end of 2023, 14 libraries, 15 theaters, 11 museums, 10 virtual halls and 40 cultural centers will be renovated in the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. Wherein planned to increase number of cinemas in Donbass.
