President Vladimir Putin signed two decrees concerning the management of property of Russia, the USSR and the Russian Empire located abroad. They involve the allocation of subsidies to a state-owned enterprise that will be responsible for managing such property.
Decree No. 21-rp introduces subsidies for “Overseas Property Management Enterprises” to search for property, register rights to it, and also for its legal protection. Decree No. 20-rp introduces subsidies for the enterprise for the maintenance and operation of such property.
FSUE “Overseas Property Management Enterprise” is part of the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation. According to the information on his website, the company was founded in 1996. Its general director is Evgeny Logvinov. Among the areas of work of the enterprise are the provision of lease of federal property abroad, management of real estate for residential and non-residential purposes, services in the field of tourism, hotel management, etc.
