Putin instructed to include SNT in the social gasification program – Kommersant

Russian President Vladimir Putin, during his address to the Federal Assembly, called for the inclusion of horticultural non-profit partnerships (SNT) in the social gasification program. The current conditions of the social gasification program provide for free installation of the network to the borders of SNT. Next, residents must independently install networks to their sites.

“Within the borders of many settlements where network gas has already been installed, gardening partnerships are located. People have been tending their plots of land for years, sometimes from generation to generation, and now they are building houses there in which they can live all year round. But they cannot connect to the networks, because gardening partnerships are not included in the social gasification program. The problem affects millions of families,” said Vladimir Putin.

In 2022, the social gasification program became unlimited. It provides for free gas connection for kindergartens, schools, hospitals and other social facilities located in gasified settlements. From March 1, 2023, the program for additional gasification of citizens’ households also became indefinite. As of January 1, 2023, the gasification level in Russia was 73%. Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said that in 2023 the gasification level reached 73.8%. According to him, the Russian President set the goal of bringing the figure to 83%.
