Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law granting the rights of the Moscow City Court as a court of first instance to consider issues of blocking access to instant messengers and social networks. Document published on the official portal of legal information.

The State Duma approved the law on November 22, and the Federation Council on November 30. After that, the document was submitted for signature to the President. Under the previous law, the Moscow City Court was the first instance in cases of restricting access to online cinemas.
