The start of construction work on the project is scheduled for 2024. The length of the gas pipeline in the Mongolian section will be about 960 km, the pipe diameter will be 1,400 mm, and five compressor stations are expected. It is expected that the export capacity of Power of Siberia 2 may exceed the capacity of the Power of Siberia gas pipeline by more than 1.3 times.
