President Vladimir Putin authorized transactions with shares constituting the authorized capital of the YueSem Holding Company (controls the assets of USM Alisher Usmanov and partners). Order head of state published on the legal information portal.
“To permit transactions (operations) entailing directly and (or) indirectly the establishment, change, termination or encumbrance of the rights of ownership, use and (or) disposal of shares constituting the authorized capital of the limited liability company “Holding Company YueSem”,”— the document says.
USM is a Russian holding company, 49% of which is owned by billionaire Alisher Usmanov. Its assets include Metalloinvest, MegaFon, Udokan Copper, and Ackermann Cement. In 2018, the holding completed the transfer of its assets to Russia. USM associated this with the course towards deoffshorization of the Russian economy.
