Putin allowed the company “Best Resolution” to buy Akhmetov’s former coal assets

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed orderaccording to which the Russian company “Best Resolution” is allowed to acquire 100% of the shares of the Donskoy Anthracite and Obukhovskaya Mine Management enterprises owned by Fabcell Limited.
In 2012, “Don Anthracite” and “Obukhovskaya Mine Administration” acquired Ukrainian DTEK Rinat Akhmetov. In May 2022, it became known that these companies were transferred to Sberbank for debts, which sold them to Valleyton Investments.
On June 15, 2023, the management of the Obukhovskaya Mine Management and Don Anthracite passed to the management company Invest Capital. This company was registered in Moscow in 2021. Its general director and sole owner is Elena Karaseva.
JSC “Best Resolution” was registered in Moscow on November 1, 2022. Authorized capital 4 million rubles. General Director – Maxim Alimov. November 17, 2023 Bank of Russia reported on registration of a report on the additional issue of shares of “Best Solution”.
