Pugacheva urged fans to remember and wait: Primadonna went online

Fans from the AllaMania movement who have gathered from different parts of the country to the perky Pugachev’s: “Wes-well?” – they chanted in chorus: “One-re-sha-eat !!!” – and sang a potpourri of Pugacheva’s songs, which they had diligently rehearsed the day before in the hotel, completely depriving the guests of rest. And, of course, with bated breath, they listened to a personal appeal to them from their adored and respected “beloved”.

Last year, Alla Pugacheva greeted fans like the fabulous Rapunzel from the turret of the family castle in the village of Gryaz. Shaking her sunny-fluffy hair, she gave the go-ahead to the long-awaited spring, and the fans who gathered at the gates of the castle shouted cheers.

This year the castle is empty, and Alla and her family are in Israel. But love and devotion, as you know, overcome any obstacles. And, glory to the 21st century, even distances are no longer a hindrance. Alla and fans met face to face thanks to the banal broadband Internet via video link.

A delegation of more than 20 “Allamans” gathered in a spacious loft overlooking the freezing Moscow River and peered anxiously at the big screen. The screen lit up, and the incredibly sunny Alla, fresh in the spring and even some kind of air, said a speech addressed to her fans:

Hello to everyone who loves and remembers this holiday! Thank you for keeping this tradition. It makes me happy and even somewhat carefree on this day. We will allow spring, but the main thing is that we remain kind, honest, decent. So, spring…

“One-re-sha-eat !!!” – the fans banged three times, after which Alla summarized: “Hurrah-ah-ah!!!”

The fans could not restrain their emotions, then tears welled up on one eye, then on the other, smiles of joy and happiness wandered on their lips. Some did not believe in the reality of what was happening. In addition to the song as a gift to Alla, the fans recited a poem by Larisa Gorbunova, the founder of the AllaMania movement, written specially for this meeting. Then everyone moved to Tverskaya, where, even when it was Gorky Street, Alla herself handed out her sunny “ohriks” to passers-by, repeated the sacred ritual. Passers-by were amazed, surprised, frightened, rejoiced, but they did not refuse flowers and, enlightened, continued on their way. Then the procession moved to the courtyard of the house where Alla Pugacheva lived on Tverskaya for many years. A trip to iconic places filled their souls with light and joy.

Once Alla told about the origin of the tradition: “This holiday, the first Sunday of spring, I just came up with myself. Where are the yellow flowers from? I came up with them at the age of 18. I came to the center, walked along Gorky Street, and before that I saved up money to buy yellow flowers. I went with them and to the most gloomy person who met me, I just gave a flower. I was pleased to see how the face of this man was transformed. Many thought that I generally like yellow flowers. No, I love pale pale pinks and whites. But the yellow ones… bring them home to me once a year, only the yellow ones.”

The singer’s fans transformed a long-standing home tradition into a public event in 2019. “Then the idea came up to actively hold the Yellow Flowers Festival – the first Sunday of spring,” Larisa Gorbunova explained to MK.

“I think it’s not so important to go somewhere with flowers, it’s such an internal celebration of people who are pure in soul, that’s all. But I’m glad, well done!” – Alla admitted in a conversation with MK.

— Did you have any particularly vivid or unexpected creative impressions?

– They are all bright. How can I not go if Limochka has arrived, how can I not support her! She is an amazingly strong woman. Despite everything, it goes, it works. It was a splendid concert. We enjoyed a lot. If I get attention from people who please me, then, of course, I will go. I didn’t go once when I was invited, because the bronchitis was terrible for almost a month, I still cough, but nothing, thank God!

– Don’t cough, please! In general, we can state that you have a very rich cultural life…

– How cultural can it be …

– And what a joy and honor for the artists – to see you at their concerts!
