PSB: more than a third of Russian entrepreneurs use the services of the self-employed

As follows from the monthly RSBI index compiled by Promsvyazbank (PSB), Magram Market Research and Opora Rossii, 36% of small and medium-sized businesses in Russia use the services of the self-employed. Of these, 8% cooperate with self-employed citizens on a regular basis – compared to last year, this indicator increased by 2% (then only 28% of entrepreneurs worked with self-employed people).

“The number of self-employed in Russia, according to the Federal Tax Service, has doubled over the past year and exceeded 5 million people … In 2022, 36% of SMEs have already worked with the self-employed, while 8% turn to them for services regularly,” the analytical report says. material available to TASS. Among the areas in which entrepreneurs most often turn to the services of the self-employed are logistics (29%), IT (24%) and construction (22%). Most often, the work of the self-employed was paid by businessmen through bank transfers. 59% of respondents consider the relatively low cost of their services to be the most attractive side of cooperation with the self-employed.
