Promsvyazbank joined the Moscow Industrial Bank

PJSC “Promsvyazbank” joined JSC “Moscow Industrial Bank” (Minbank), follows from a message on “Fedresource”. The decision was made on March 21 by the sole shareholder (since 2018 it has been the Federal Property Management Agency). PSB contributed 100% of the shares of the Minbank to its own authorized capital in January.
The client base of the Ministry of Bank exceeds 70 thousand enterprises. The bank has more than 150 branches in 27 regions of Russia. The organization has been under sanctions since 2019. By April 2022 the Central Bank invested to a credit institution 164 billion rubles. In May 2022, the Central Bank capitalized Minbank for another 34.9 billion rubles. At the same time, the regulator announced that the credit institution would be attached to the PSB in the event of a positive decision by the government.
Decree on accession by Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin signed 11th of November. By November 10, the Central Bank came out from the capital of the Ministry of Bank.
