Progress MS-24 cargo spacecraft has docked with the International Space Station (ISS). The ship took off from the Baikonur Cosmodrome on August 23 on a Soyuz-2.1a carrier rocket, which carried the symbols of the 300th anniversary of Yekaterinburg.
As follows from the broadcast of Roscosmos on Youtube, docking of the spacecraft with the Zvezda module of the Russian segment of the ISS took place at 06:50 Moscow time. The docking took place automatically under the control of specialists from the Mission Control Center of the Central Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering near Moscow and Russian cosmonauts from the ISS.
Progress MS-24 delivered 2.5 thousand kg of cargo to the ISS: 500 kg of fuel, 420 kg of water, 40 kg of nitrogen, 1.5 thousand kg of medical and sanitary and hygiene products, food and clothing for astronauts, equipment and tools. The ship will be in orbit for 174 days.
