The Public Commission under the President of Russia, designed to determine candidates for State Prizes for outstanding achievements in the field of human rights activities and for outstanding achievements in the field of charitable activities, today announced the acceptance of documents for awards from November 23, according to the official website of the President of the Russian Federation.
Anna Revyakina, a social activist from Donetsk, who was present at the commission meeting, wrote on her Telegram page that the head of the department of general political science at the Higher School of Economics, Leonid Polyakov, proposed nominating Polina Menshikh, who died on November 21 in the DPR, for the prize.
Let us recall that the actress, director and choreographer Polina Menshikh became the victim of a strike from HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems, transferred by Western countries to Ukraine, in the village of Kumachovo in the Starobeshevsky district of the DPR.
