Poland closes border for trucks from Russia and Belarus from June 1

From June 1, Poland closes the movement of trucks with Russian and Belarusian numbers across its border. This is stated in the order of the Polish government.
“From midnight on June 1, the movement of goods across the border with the Republic of Belarus for trucks, tractors, trailers, including semi-trailers and road trains registered in the territory of the Republic of Belarus or the Russian Federation, will be suspended until further notice,” the text of the document says (translation TASS).
Close the border for trucks from Russia and Belarus suggested Ministry of the Interior of Poland. Polish media wrote that this measure would be a response to the proposal of State Duma deputies to block the movement of Polish trucks in the Russian Federation.
Today, May 29, Warsaw introduced restrictions against 365 citizens of Belarus, and also froze the assets of 15 Russians and one Belarusian. The list, among other things, includes 159 deputies, 76 judges, 7 prosecutors, 32 representatives of the local administration, 28 security officials, 23 representatives of the Belarusian state media, 24 athletes.
Russian-Polish relations escalated after the Polish authorities on April 29 confiscated the building of the Russian-language school at the Embassy of the Russian Federation.
