Low-cost carrier Pobeda is considering the possibility of providing a limited range of snacks and drinks on board, said company CEO Dmitry Tyshchuk. According to him, this should not affect aircraft maintenance time. Now Pobeda’s flight turnaround takes an average of 25 minutes,

As Mr. Tyshchuk clarified, the food format under consideration will have a minimum weight for the total load on board and will not complicate cleaning the aircraft. “We are now also looking into the issue of pre-ordering food on board and selling food on board as such. We are talking about a limited assortment. These will be snacks and drinks for a snack,” he said (quoted by TASS).

Pobeda has a paid service called “Food at Gate”, with which a passenger can order food on the plane from several collected sets; it is given out before boarding. About the airline’s plans to offer passengers food and entertainment on board aircraft Dmitry Tyshchuk told back in September 2023. He said that the ideas could be implemented in the next six months; there are no plans to include alcohol in the assortment.
