“I’m in the hospital with double pneumonia. I caught a viral infection somewhere. It’s good that I’m in the hospital, because they wouldn’t have gotten me out at home,” Mrs. Selezneva told TASS. The actress clarified that she has been in the hospital for three days; doctors have not yet made any predictions regarding discharge.

Natalya Selezneva was born on June 19, 1945 in Moscow. She gained the greatest fame thanks to the films of director Leonid Gaidai. Among the films with her participation are “Operation “Y” and other adventures of Shurik,” “Ivan Vasilyevich changes his profession” and “It can’t be!” In total, the actress’s filmography includes more than 40 projects.
