Born October 13, 1977 in Leningrad (now St. Petersburg). In 1999 he graduated from the State University of Management with a degree in management, in 2002-2004 he studied at the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Foreign Ministry with a degree in world economy. In 1999–2002, he worked at the Ministry of Transport, in 2004–2010, at VTB, and since 2007, he has served as senior vice president of the bank. Since May 2010, he has been a member of the Supervisory Board and the Executive Board of Rosselkhozbank. Since 2016, he has been a member of the Board of Directors of Gazprom. In May 2018, he was appointed Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation. Doctor of Economics, the topic of the dissertation is “State and market regulators in the formation and implementation of industrial policy: based on the materials of natural monopolies in the fuel and energy complex”. Awarded with the Order of Honor.
