The reason for the request for an emergency landing was the deterioration of the passenger’s condition, said the press secretary of the air hub Anastasia Golodova.
“The Moscow-Minvody flight gave an alarm, began to descend for an emergency landing at the Volgograd airport,” TASS quoted the interlocutor as saying.
It is specified that the incident occurred in the sky over the Volgograd region after about an hour and a half of flight. Anastasia Golodova, press secretary of the air hub, confirmed to Interfax that Volgograd airport is preparing to receive an Aeroflot aircraft flying from Moscow to Mineralnye Vody. According to her, the plane requested an emergency landing due to the deteriorating condition of the passenger on board.
