Participants of the book market and the Ministry of Digital Development are developing a mechanism for enforcing the law on the ban on LGBT propaganda

The Russian Book Union (RKS) together with the Ministry of Digital Development are developing a consolidated position of the industry on the enforcement of the law on the ban on LGBT propaganda, Elena Beilina, head of the Committee on Electronic Resources and Digital Transformation of the Book Market of the RCU, and Vladimir Vladimir, Director of the Department of State Support for Periodical Press and the Book Industry of the Ministry of Digital Development, told Vedomosti Grigoriev.

To prepare proposals from the book industry, a working group was created under the RKS, a representative of the union told Vedomosti, without specifying its composition. According to one of the members of the group, it included Beilina, Executive Director of the RCC Elena Starostina, as well as representatives of the publishing houses Eksmo-AST, Litres, Alpina, Ripol-classic.
