74-year-old People's Artist of the Russian Federation Alexander Pankratov-Cherny, who was hospitalized, spoke for the first time about how he broke his ribs, reports website KP.RU.
Earlier, the media reported about the artist’s hospitalization after a tour in Norilsk and about the cancellation of a performance with his participation at the Moscow Variety Theater. However, Pankratov-Cherny himself did not answer phone calls. But today for the first time he told what happened.
“I slipped while on tour in Norilsk. I fell and broke my ribs,” he said, adding that all the performances actually had to be cancelled.
“It hurts a lot. That’s why I’m lying there,” admitted Pankratov-Cherny. He noted that the day before in St. Petersburg, in a play at the Lensoveta Palace of Culture, he was replaced by another actor. The People's Artist himself plans to appear on stage for the first time in Kazakhstan on March 1, if the treatment process goes well.
It is known that after the incident in Norilsk, Pankratov-Cherny flew to Moscow on February 5 and consulted doctors because it became difficult for him to breathe. After this, the artist was hospitalized and diagnosed with a rib fracture.
