Palladium falls to its lowest level in four years

The price of palladium in the world fell on June 23 to a minimum since January 2019 – $ 1269 per troy ounce, according to the New York Comex exchange. The price minimum during trading on Friday was fixed at 17.35 Moscow time. The price of the precious metal fell by 8.7% compared to the beginning of the month and by 29% since the beginning of January 2023. Later, during trading on June 23, the price of the September futures corrected to $1,274 per ounce.
Palladium has been falling in price since October 2022, when the price reached $2317.5 per ounce. The historical maximum was recorded in early March last year – $ 3440.8 per ounce. At that time, there were fears in the market regarding interruptions in the supply of metal from Russia after the start of the NWO. By June 2022, palladium fell to $1,778.8, then corrected slightly upwards from June to October.
