“For eight months of 2023, revenue receipts into the country’s budget system amounted to 29.4 trillion rubles. with an increase of 2.4 trillion rubles, or 9%, by eight months of 2022,” said Daniil Egorov, speaking at the Federal Tax Service board. The head of the department also recalled that due to the decline in world oil prices, oil and gas revenues fell 1.6 times (from 83.7 to 53.7 dollars per barrel) and revenues to the federal budget decreased by 7% compared to last year. Non-oil and gas revenues increased by 12% to RUB 17.7 trillion.
