OPEC Secretary General Haytham al-Ghais said that due to the growing demand for petroleum products, it is necessary to increase refining capacities around the world. Haytham al-Ghais cited “exceptional efforts” to expand the Al Zour refinery in Kuwait, the Dangote refinery in Nigeria, and the Jazan refinery in Saudi Arabia as examples.
