The revenue of the Premier online cinema (part of the Gazprom-Media holding) grew by 113% in 2023, the service told Kommersant, without giving absolute figures. The number of paying users grew by 33%, to 4.8 million. In 2022, the company reported revenue growth of 22%, and the number of users by 45%, to 3.6 million.
Premier clarified that the size of revenue and subscriber base was influenced by the growth in the quantity and quality of original content of the video service, the launch of an updated recommendation system, as well as content licensing and exclusive cooperation with Gazprom Media Holding TV channels.
