Oleina Oil Producer Closes Deal to Sell Business in Russia

Agrotrader Bunge, which is engaged in the production of Oleina oil, has closed a deal to sell its business for the production of vegetable oils in Russia, transmits company press office.

Bunge CIS will continue the production and sale of vegetable oils at the oil extraction plant in the Voronezh region, already under the control of the new owner.
In September 2022, it became known that Bunge will sell its oil refining business in Russia to the controlling shareholder of Exoil Group, Karen Vanetsyan. The deal includes a sunflower processing plant in the Voronezh region.
The oil extraction plant in the Voronezh region was put into operation in 2008, the investment amounted to $130 million. The plant’s capacity is 540,000 tons of raw materials and more than 200 million bottles of sunflower oil per year. Bunge CIS owns the trademarks Oleina, Ideal, Maslenitsa, etc.
