Oksana Fedorova made a splash at the Tefi-Kids ceremony

The TV presenter remembered the beginning of her work in “Good night, kids”

The fourth award “TEFI-Kids” has become an occasion to digress from a very sad adult television lately. The ceremony, which took place at the theater Et Cetera, was full of well-known faces and was not without some irony.

Children’s content is serious. Something like this was the main mantra of the ceremony, which was held by the singer Emmanuel Turetskaya and the actor and TV presenter Alexander Oleshko. And it’s hard to disagree with such a slogan, especially after a very recent Kremlin decree on expanding state funding for programs for children. The well-known TV producer and organizer of the award Alexander Mitroshenkov, opening the ceremony, noted that television for children cannot be considered as a business, and now not only producers understand this.

It can be assumed that the new state support will make the market for children’s television broadcasting even more saturated, although almost four dozen channels with the appropriate content already operate in Russia. And judging by the nominations of the ceremony, the academics really had plenty to choose from.

For several years now, there has been a tendency, according to which not all the most interesting, according to academicians, television in the country is made in Moscow and St. Petersburg. A lot of regional projects got into the nomination, and one of them was awarded as the best daily infotainment program for children. We are talking about the program “Mountain of News”, which goes live every day on the Ufa channel “Tamyr”.

The large-scale project “Big and Small” is also largely dedicated to the regions. In this program, the famous ballerina Svetlana Zakharova and her team are looking for the best choreographic groups all over the country. It was “Big and Small” that outperformed their equally well-known competitors in the nomination “Best TV Show for Children”: “Domisolka” and the show “Geeks”.

There were many children at the ceremony, both involved in the production of programs and simply invited to support their favorite TV entertainment. The enthusiastic shouts with which the young viewers greeted the verdict about the victory of “Mult” in the nomination “Best TV channel for children” clearly hinted at the fact that the producers managed to offer a really exciting selection of programs to a very difficult audience. Outrageous graphics on the Superheroes channel were recognized as the best design.

The best animated series was the project “Monsiki. The Rule of Life”, and among the animated films won “Koschei. Start”. Among the most notable films and series for children, two high-profile premieres of the season were noted at once: the sentimental retro story “Palma” about a dog left without an owner, and the real blockbuster “Bogatyr. Messenger of Darkness”, which impressed not only children, but also many adults.

In personal nominations, serious competition has also unfolded. As a result, Yulia Koroleva, who shoots the show Edible or Inedible with host Anton Zaitsev, was named the best director of a television program for children. The legendary composer Alexander Zatsepin won in the musical nomination, under whose leadership and with direct participation all the songs and melodies for the animated series “Orange Cow” were written. The Soviet musical classic is now 96 years old, but Alexander Sergeevich’s efficiency and involvement in the process of creating music incredibly impressed the entire project team.

The most secular moment of the ceremony was the presentation of the award in the nomination “Host of a television program for children.” Young Leyla Taisheva, the face of the Evening Tales project on the Kazan channel Shayan TV, as well as experienced Anton Zaitsev (Edible or inedible) and Oksana Fedorova (Good night, kids) reached the final.

The winner was Oksana Fedorova, who next year will celebrate the twentieth anniversary of her work in the legendary TV program. “When I came to the first shooting, I was met with not very friendly looks,” said the TV presenter from the stage. “But then the production designer and cameraman looked at the monitor and said: “We like the picture.” It was very inspiring. I am pleased that this program is watched not only by children, but also by men.” Then Karkusha, Filya and Khryusha joined Fedorova, turning for some time an important ceremony into a children’s holiday. In the hall, they expressed confidence that Oksana could well become our new Angelina Vovk.
