O’Key’s revenue in the second quarter grew to 49.7 billion rubles – Kommersant

Retailer O’Key increased its net retail sales by 0.4% in the second quarter to RUB 49.7 billion, according to reporting. The indicator increased due to online sales and growth in revenue of Da! discounters.
The revenue of O’Key hypermarkets for the reporting period decreased by 5.3%, to 33.55 billion rubles. The company attributed this to a 4.8% drop in hypermarket revenue. O’Key’s online sales grew by 34.4% year-on-year to RUB 1.9 billion.
The group’s like-for-like sales were down 3.7%, which the retailer attributed to a 4.1% drop in traffic. The average check increased by 0.4%.
At the end of 2022, the ten largest chains slowed down growth rates in quarterly and annual terms, increasing revenue by 13.7%, to 2.12 trillion rubles. In particular, the revenue of O’Key Group in the fourth quarter grew by 2.9%, to 55.6 billion rubles. The group manages 282 stores, including 77 O’Key hypermarkets and 205 Da! discounters.
