Oil and gas producers in Russia earned 2.3 trillion rubles in 10 months of 2022

The balance of profits and losses of Russian companies in the field of oil and gas production for January-October 2022 amounted to 2.28 trillion rubles, follows from the statistics of Rosstat. The indicator decreased by 19.4% in annual terms, but improved significantly compared to the first half of this year.
It follows from the statistics that according to the results of 10 months, 57.4% of companies in this area were profitable, the rest were unprofitable. After the strengthening of anti-Russian sanctions, the Russian government allowed companies not to disclose financial statements. This measure is valid until July 1, 2023.
