A well-known Russian producer of kvass and beer may turn to champagne. The Moscow Ochakovo plant has filed applications to register the trademarks Zoomba Brut and Zoomba Semi Sweet, writes the profile portal Shopper’s. According to him, both trademarks can be used for sparkling wines. Kommersant FM sent a request to the company, but they refused to comment. At the same time, Ochakovo has winemaking experience. The plant owns the Southern Wine Company, which produces products from its own grapes, growing them on the Taman Peninsula in the Krasnodar Territory.
