The Vice Premier also added that during the talks between the Russian Federation and China, the importance of the project for energy cooperation between the countries was emphasized. At the same time, the price of gas, the supply of which is expected through Power of Siberia 2, will be beneficial for Russia, he stressed.

“No one is going to sign contracts at a loss,” Novak said.

Following talks with Xi Jinping, Vladimir Putin declaredthat Russia and China have agreed on almost all the parameters of the “Force of Siberia – 2”.
