Norebo wants to transfer the construction of trawlers from USC to its own shipyard

One of the largest Russian fishing holdings, Norebo, may refuse the services of Severnaya Verf in St. Petersburg (part of the state-owned United Shipbuilding Corporation, USC) to complete the construction of four trawlers. This was told to Vedomosti by three sources at shipbuilding enterprises, the fact of negotiations on the transfer was confirmed by the deputy director of Norebo Sergey Sennikov.
Four of the 10 trawlers ordered by USC will be completed at Norebo’s own Pella-stapel shipyard in the Leningrad region, one of the sources said.
