“New Year’s Mask + Avatar”: NTV will combine the real and the virtual

The channel will combine two shows

Two iconic shows of the TV channel will be combined into a special project – “New Year’s Mask + Avatar”. Before and after the chiming clock, seventeen favorite masks from previous seasons and eight avatars will take the stage. Also, absolutely new heroes will appear in the frame: four masks and four avatars, who will reveal their personalities on the same night.

The chairs of star judges will also be taken by the joint team: Philip Kirkorov, Valeria, Timur Rodriguez, Regina Todorenko, Timur Batrutdinov, Sergey Lazarev, Ida Galich and Mark Tishman. Viewers are waiting for nationwide hits, unexpected duets and even trios, many surprises and the permanent host of both projects Vyacheslav Makarov.

All members of the star jury admit that they have been celebrating the New Year on different shoots for several weeks, so the festive mood has become quite familiar. Backstage excitement gives a lot of emotions to all participants of the show, but the end result will still be a surprise.

“We will definitely watch at home with my family,” says Ida Galich. – My son Leon is almost three years old, he still does not quite understand what his mother does, but he watched the Avatar show, pointed with his little finger and shouted “mom.” I hope that he will also like that my mother, in such a wonderful company, solves magical heroes on New Year’s Day.

Sergey Lazarev visited different sides of the barricades during the mask-avatar seasons and returned to the familiar studio with great pleasure. “I have already established myself as a jury member of the Avatar Show. I also happened to visit the first season of the Mask show as a special guest – I was a Dinosaur, then none of the jury guessed me. It was a wonderful experiment in my life, and it’s great that two such large-scale projects have merged into one to surprise, intrigue and delight us again, ”says the singer.

“For me, the New Year is a professional holiday, because my main task on this day is to give the audience a good mood,” notes Timur Batrutdinov. — But I will traditionally spend the festive night with my family. Perhaps in a Hare costume – a symbol of the coming year, if the producers allow me to take it.
