Natalya Timakova announced her resignation as Deputy Chairman of VEB.RF

Vice-chairman VEB.RF Natalia Timakova will leave her post and take the position of Development Director at the Moscow School of Management from March 1 “Skolkovo“. About this Timakova told RBC.

The interlocutor of the publication considered Timakova’s transition to a new position logical, since she has been a member of the Board of Directors of the School of Management for 4.5 years, and VEB.RF is one of the organization’s main creditors.

At the press office VEB.RF noted that in the state corporation Timakova was also involved in educational projects, in particular, she is a member of the board of directors of ProShkola (a subsidiary of VEB) and oversaw joint projects between VEB and the school of management “Skolkovo“and GK” Enlightenment “. VEB.RF Chairman Igor Shuvalov said through the press service that she would continue to “work closely with the corporation in her new role.”

Natalya Timakova has served as Deputy Chairman of VEB since September 2018. Prior to that, she worked as a press secretary for Dmitry Medvedev for ten years: first during his presidency from 2008 to 2012, and then during the period of premiership from 2012 to 2018. From 2002 to 2008 Timakova headed the presidential press service, and in different years she also held the posts of deputy head of the presidential press service, and.
