During these hours, Irina Pinsker receives hundreds of messages from viewers and colleagues of her ex-husband, the star of Russian films and TV shows Maxim Pinsker. In an interview with an MK correspondent, Irina Gennadievna said that the farewell ceremony would take place on Saturday, the place is also already known – this is the Nikolo-Arkhangelsk crematorium, located in Balashikha near Moscow.

– How did the audience and colleagues of Maxim respond to his death?

– Everyone responded. So much so, I didn’t even expect it. Help flies from all over, I would say countries, not cities (a few hours ago, Maxim’s daughter-in-law Olga applied on social networks with a request to help raise funds for the funeral – I.V.). Now my son is standing nearby, he says: people’s love is shown. These are those who constantly came to the performances, and friends, and colleagues.

We feel this support, and it gives us the strength to survive it all.

– Can we now say with certainty that he is not forgotten, that a folk trail will not grow to his grave?

– There was a short pause (with filming) due to the fact that Maxim was sick, he had problems with his leg joint, and then, due to the pandemic, he was not actively involved in creative work. But when everything happened, we realized how much everyone loves him, they know his filmography. They send messages: “Thank you for the Interns”, “Thank you for the Volkov Hour”. I won’t list everything. But as a wife, I want to say that he was not only a talented actor, but also a wonderful bright person and a wonderful father of his three children.

At the same time, Irina stressed that she was not ready to discuss with the press the causes of the ex-spouse’s death.

“I myself am waiting for information from the morgue,” she says.
