Musk opens poll on whether he should step down as head of Twitter

Twitter owner Elon Musk launched a poll on the social network about whether he should step down as the head of the company. So far, the majority of users supported the dismissal of the entrepreneur. Mr. Musk has previously made decisions on contentious issues by voting, including unbanning Donald Trump’s account.
“Should I step down as head of Twitter? I will stick to the results of this poll,” Musk wrote.
Three hours later, more than 8 million users took part in the survey. 57% of the participants supported the entrepreneur’s resignation, 43% were against it. The survey will continue for another 8 hours.
Elon Musk took over Twitter after buying the social network for $44 billion. Since then, he has made many decisions that caused controversy: he made the blue tick a paid service, fired half of the employees, unblocked Donald Trump’s account, and temporarily blocked the accounts of journalists who, in his opinion, were engaged in surveillance.
