MTS and MTS-Bank launched a contactless payment service through the Pay Tag payment sticker. It will be available to Mir cardholders of Russian banks. The sticker can be used in all terminals with contactless payment. This was reported in the press service of MTS-Bank.

You can get Pay Tag by pre-order. The first 50 thousand users will receive it for free. For the rest, there will be an opportunity to test the sticker for free for a month, after which you will need to pay 699 rubles for it.

You can link cards for paying with a sticker through the MTS Pay application. It will be possible to link up to five Mir debit or credit cards to the sticker. In the future, cards of other payment systems will be connected to it.

“The service allows you to add debit and credit cards of different Russian banks to the MTS Pay application and choose which of the linked cards to pay. The service is available to subscribers of other operators and clients of Russian banks. The service includes the MTC Pay mobile application and the Pay Tag external NFC module, which can be attached to the phone case or the device itself,” MTS Bank said in a statement.

Previously, the first payment sticker among Russian banks launched Alfa Bank. Running similar stickers also announced at Tinkoff Bank. Sberbank also informed about testing payment stickers.
