The film “Mother-in-Law” became the weekend box office leader in Russia and the CIS for the third time in a row. He collected a total of 499 million rubles, reported kinobusiness.com.
Film distribution leaders December 14–17:
- “Mother-in-law” – 75.4 million rubles. (total – 499.2 million rubles);
- “Yolki 10” — 74.2 million rubles. (RUB 219.5 million);
- “Manyunya: New Year’s Adventures” – 72.9 million rubles;
- “The Boy and the Bird” – 66.9 million rubles. (RUB 208.3 million);
- “Wonka” (without Russia and Belarus) – 54.5 million rubles.
In total, Russian cinemas collected 440–445 million rubles over the weekend. Revenue is 15-16% less than a week ago, but 35-36% more than the same period a year ago.
