The Russian film “Mother-in-Law” became the leader in film distribution in the Russian Federation and the CIS for the second weekend in a row. It overtook the tenth part of the “Christmas Trees” film series, which premiered on October 7, reported kinobusiness.com.
Film distribution leaders December 7–10:
- “Mother-in-law” – 124.6 million rubles. (total – 392.6 million rubles);
- “Yolki 10” – 116.2 million rubles;
- “The Boy and the Bird” – 106.5 million rubles;
- “At the command of the pike” – 45.7 million rubles (2.4 billion rubles);
- “The Canterville Ghost” – 21.5 million rubles.
As kinobusiness.com notes, the previous part of the “Christmas Trees” series collected 128.2 million rubles on the first weekend. Moreover, last time the film had no competitors.
