Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin approved measures to support small and medium-sized businesses in the capital in April 2022. According to the initiative, organizations related to small and medium-sized businesses can receive a loan at 15% per annum for 12 months. The maximum loan amount is 50 million rubles. It was reported that the program will be valid until December 31, 2022.

Soft loans for investment purposes were also provided. The rate on them was 7% per annum, in August it was reduced to 3%. In this case, the loan amount cannot exceed 300 million rubles. Concessional financing is provided for a period of three years.
