Moscow Exchange’s net profit in the third quarter of 2023 increased by 17.9%

Moscow Exchange net profit (MOEX) in the third quarter of 2023 according to IFRS amounted to 14.3 billion rubles. This is 17.9% more than in the same period last year, as follows from the financial report trading platform.
Adjusted net profit from July to September increased to RUB 13.31 billion. (+29.3%) compared to the same period last year. Commission income of the site increased to 14.37 billion rubles. (+60.9%). Net interest income increased by 21.8%, net interest income excluding the realized revaluation of the investment portfolio – by 23.8%. Operating income of Moscow Exchange increased by 41%, expenses – by 37.7%.
The report states that in the third quarter of 2023, the Moscow Exchange approved a development strategy for five years and updated the dividend policy. On August 3, the trading platform was the first on the Russian market to receive a license for the exchange of digital financial assets (DFA).
At the opening of trading today, November 13, the Moscow Exchange index was 3,241.31 points (-0.02% compared to the previous close). The reports were published a little earlier than trading opened. As of 11:48, the index is 3,244.38 (+0.08%).
