Moscow Exchange restricts transactions with shares of 80 strategic companies to non-residents under the control of persons from the Russian Federation

For the third day in a row, the Moscow Exchange is updating the list of strategic companies, actions with shares of which are limited for non-residents controlled by Russian legal entities and individuals. The list has been increased to 80 companies.

In the updated list published Moscow Exchange on April 7, included ordinary shares of PJSC Rosseti Volga, as well as ordinary and preferred shares of Slavneft-Yaroslavnefteorgsintez – a total of three positions. On April 5, the list was expanded to 76 companies, and on April 6 to 77.

Non-resident clients from countries that are not hostile and are under the control of Russian legal entities or individuals are allowed to make transactions on the Moscow Exchange from September 12, 2022. Since September 6, the Moscow Exchange has been adding to the list of strategic companies to which this permit does not apply.
