Moscow Exchange index fell by 2.9% amid Putin’s statement – Kommersant

The Moscow Exchange Index during the evening session accelerated the decline by more than 2.9% after 1.4%. At 21:59, the index lost 2.93% to 2713.19 points.
Decline Leaders:
- Yandex — 3.36%;
- Polyus — 2.33%;
- “Magnet” – 1.16%;
- Norilsk Nickel – 1.24%
- Rusal – 1.25%.
The fall came amid statements by President Vladimir Putin tonight, June 26. His press secretary, Dmitry Peskov, said that “statements will determine the fate of Russia.”
